Lanterns have 2 warm white globes in the base (see images of illuminated lantern)! If using quality batteries these lanterns can be used continuously for over 48 hours!   These lanterns require 2 x AAA batteries (not included).

We recommend you store these indoors between parties (they fold again flat after use), so there is no damage to the battery box or componentry and you can continue using over and over again!   
If using as table decorations, we recommend using double sided tape on base to prevent lantern from being knocked over.
